The Art of the DJ

I’ve had the pleasure of MCing with a few DJs and it always varies in the art, technology and the ”Technics” (pun intended).  There’s always a method to their madness that looks simple and easy to the lamen, but when you try it yourself that inferiority complex overwhelms you 10 fold.  I’ve watched the DJ game mature from carrying crates upon crates of heavy records and 2 turntables to just a thin Mac Book and a Vestax VCI-300.  Big shout out to DJ Good Grief aka the Grand Grizzle for breaking ground in Houston and holding it down for YEARS!
